beer brewing process

There are many different steps to make in the home beer brewing process, and there are some ingredients that are essential, and the most important ingredient to the entire process is patience! To complete the whole beer brewing process it will take you at least three weeks, in some cases even longer for the beer to be in optimum condition and ready for consumption.

All equipment and ingredients should be ready for use during your home beer brewing process.

If you miss a piece of equipment or an ingredient is missing, the beer may end up flat because the fermentation process did not work correctly or you have some other problem like the sediment not settling or the taste being off. You need to be a bit precise for brewing but if you use home beer making kits they are a sure way to get a good end result because these kits contain everything you need for the beer brewing process, including the ingredients. The only additions you need to some of the kits are the dextrose for the secondary fermentation process and the fermenting agent, some sort of malt or sugar according to taste. So called beer kit packages also include these ingredients. They are easy to use and the beer brewed is very tasty.

The Brewing Pot

A large stainless steel brewing pot is the first thing you will use in the home beer brewing process. This pot is used to heat the water after that the mix from the beer kit should be dissolved into them. At the end of this process the wort is ready for primary fermentation in the primary fermenter the second piece of equipment needed in the beer brewing process. The primary fermenter has an airlock and stopper to prevent air from outside getting into the fermenter, but also allows the carbon dioxide to get out so that it does not explode.

Of course you need other equipment like the bottling bucket, beer bottles with caps and sometimes a bottling machine. It is important to have dark beer bottles from plastic or glass. This will preserve the taste of your home brewed beer the best.

Home brewing is not as difficult as you might think, the beer brewing process gives you the security you need to get started and learn the basics. When you have gained more experience there is time enough to start some experiments with recipes and ingredients.

The author of this article, Peter Waterman, writes on his website http://www.homebeermakers.com about his greatest hobby, making his own beer. Read his articles about his microbrewery or about custom beer labels.

Wine really is one of those things that can be drunk in all places. In your back garden, on a meadow, or maybe at work if you’re lucky. Wine can even be enjoyed on the oceans around the world, but here you need a little consideration as it can be trickier than you might imagine.

Keeping it cool. If you are drinking red wine then you don’t really have to worry about temperature, just keep it below deck and it will be fine. White wine or champagne on the other hand should be served chilled and this poses a problem if you don’t have a fridge on board. You can always rely on natures refrigerator though, a cool your bottles using sea water. You can literally dunk them over the side of the boat (insuring they are secured first) and leave them for an hour or so before drinking. This doesn’t work so well if you are in the Mediterranean, but most places will still give your wine a nice chill.

Preventing breakages
. With all the movement on the sea it can be difficult to keep your bottles of wine intact.Keeping the wine in a box and securing this tightly to one part of the boat is a great start, but there is more you can do to save your bottles. If you place your wines in wine bags they act to protect them further and stop any liquid escaping if the bottles do break.

Opening the bottle
. You may want to break a bottle on your hull to christen your vessel, but this isn’t much use if you want to drink the stuff. Don’t let any moisture get to the cork as this will cause it to swell up and make it a whole lot harder to get out. Also, don’t try to remove the cork by improvising with all manner of tableware or fishing hooks. Use a decent bottle opener and take your time. You don’t want to have swim back to shore to pick up another if you cork it.

Wedding cake toppers were not as trendy for weddings as they are today. More and more they are becoming as vital as the wedding cake itself and are one of the quickest growing areas for the wedding gift market.

Once over, wedding cake toppers just used to be in the form of a generic bride and groom couple. Now, though a wedding cake topper can be custom designed to the bride and groom’s requirements which really makes the wedding cake even more unique. Personalised wedding cake toppers that are made from sugar paste or clay can be shaped to look like copies of the happy couple even right down to their wedding day outfits. Grooms can be shown wearing kilts, military uniforms or their favourite football team kit! Brides can be made wearing their wedding outfits, veils and tiaras and even down to hair styles and the type and colour of flowers used in their bouquet.

They can even be themed around the time of year that they are getting married such as Christmas or if it is a beach wedding in an exotic location. Family members and even pets can be added for that extra special touch. Many of the more popular cake toppers seem to be funny and humourous to reflect the bride and groom’s personalities.

Once the wedding cake is long gone a cake topper can be kept as a unique keepsake and memento of one of the most wonderful days a couple will ever have. ?A new trend that is only just catching on in 2010 is for a monogrammed wedding cake topper. This kind of wedding cake decoration started in the USA and very few British and European retailers seem to have them available yet although one of my favourite gift retailers is at the forefront for this again! They are usually crafted from brushed steel or acrylic and all of the letters of the alphabet and some numbers are available. Monogram wedding cake toppers usually include the initials of the bride and groom i.e. ´M & P´.

What makes them really special though is that they are hand decorated with Swarovski crystals in a choice of colours to match your wedding day theme. These crystal cake toppers really do create the ´wow´ factor sat on the top of your wedding cake to really add some bling!

There is a wedding cake topper matching every taste and every budget!

Antioxidants should be an essential part of an individual’s diet.  Antioxidants provide an important function within the human body in that they fight free radicals.

Free radicals are harmful substances found within the body. Many diseases within the body arise if these harmful substances are left unrestrained.Diseases may include heart disease, cancer, and early onset of aging within the body.

Antioxidants, as a requirement for healthy living, must be ingested from food sources and through the daily use of supplements.Fruits, beans, teas, and vegetables are major sources of antioxidants.

A big eye opener was the great benefits of dark chocolate.  It is not often that we are encouraged to eat chocolate for health reasons, but, amazingly, dark chocolate antioxidants are beneficial when eaten properly. They even come in the forms of a chocolate phone and chocolate cell.

The Benefits That Dark Chocolate Antioxidant Provide

Evidence suggests that consuming dark chocolate provides antioxidants in the bloodstream.  These dark chocolate antioxidants that are provided help to protect and strengthen the heart.  Found in the cocoa bean, these dark chocolate antioxidants have been specifically identified as epicatechin which is a type of flavonoid.Found in the stems, leaves, and seeds of many plants are a ketone flavonoid.

In fact, test studies revealed that those individuals who ate dark chocolate bar had an increase of antioxidants in their bloodstream.Antioxidants in the bloodstream was shown to rise up to 20%.Hence, a moderate snacking of dark chocolate could very well be just as healthy as a diet of leafy vegetables.

Maximum Benefit Of Dark Chocolate Antioxidant

However, there is one precaution when wishing to receive the maximum healthful benefits of dark chocolate antioxidants.  That precaution is not drinking milk when eating dark chocolate or for that matter any other food item that is replete with antioxidants.

Additional studies on those individuals who had eaten dark chocolate antioxidants, revealed that the benefit of eating dark chocolate antioxidants was negated when milk was drank separately or was part of the dark chocolate mixture.  Specifically, when the level of antioxidants in the bloodstream was measured after eating milk chocolate or milk with their dark chocolate there was no increase in the epicatechim level.  The conjecture of this study is that the food molecules of milk adheres to the epicatechins and prevents the assimilation of the flavonoids.

Therefore, the study concluded that when eating  chocolate or other richly saturated antioxidant products, it is important not to drink milk. This will provide the best absorption of the antioxidants with these given food products.

Folks wish to eat healthy foods today, and a good way to accomplish that is thru birds. There are some chicken cooking tips that can help you in the kitchen and look after your family as well.

Here are a couple of the best chicken cooking tips available.

You must take care to always wash your hands, knife, and cutting board in hot soapy water after preparing raw chickens. You must never use the same utensils and cutting board for other ingredients without thoroughly washing them first and after use. This stops cross contamination. You need to always marinate birds in the refrigerator. Never leave it out in the open. Do not use the poultry marinade for basting. If the marinade is to be used for the basis of a sauce, bring it to a boil and boil for two mins. Never put cooked chickens on the same plate that was employed to move raw birds. Again, this stops cross contamination.

These are some chicken cooking tips for storing your birds : Fresh chickens is a particularly perishable food. You shouldn’t leave it out in the open air. Instead, wrap it in plastic as fast as you get it home from the store and always store it in the coldest part of your refrigerator. You need to use it inside 2 days ; if this is place it in a freezer bag and freeze for at least 3 months. You need to always freeze giblets and livers separately from the whole bird. Cooked chickens dishes can be frozen. However, you shouldn’t freeze poultry dishes that contain mayonnaise or boiled eggs.

Allow small poultry dishes to cool down fully before wrapping and freezing them. Permit bigger items to cool in the chiller and then wrap airtight and freeze.

You should never freeze stuffed poultry.

Some of the most important chicken cooking tips involve proper thawing of the bird.

It is particularly vital that the poultry be properly thawed before cooking. Permit it to thaw in the chiller although it is in the original wrapper. You can place it on a tray to catch any drips that can fall as it thaws. When thawing in the fridge isn’t likely because there is not enough time, there are two other alternatives. For rapid thawing, you can put the bird in watertight wrapping and then submerge in cold water. You need to change the water often as this can help quicken the process. Smaller birds need about one to 2 hours. The other alternative is to leave the bird in its wrapper and put it into a heavy paper grocery bag. Close up the bag and put it into a cool room. You’ll need to test it often, and once the bird is thawed, you need to cook it immediately. You will find lots more chicken cooking tips online or in most good cook books.
